5 ways football is dying!

Spread the love

Disclaimer: these are not facts but an opinion.

1-More money better football club:

In today’s day and age a trend has been set that the wealthier and economically stable the club the better team they will have, there are infinite examples today to prove that. It consequently results in more fame for that respective club because it has the strength and support of money to have anyone in their team as long as the player wants to join. This just takes me to my second point.

2- lack of Love for football : We cannot fully blame the player because today everyone is running towards money. The love of football seems to be dying, gone are those days when there were players who didn’t saw their pay check and there was only love for the game and did not let anything come between their love. There is nothing wrong to have a decent or large amount of money but the fact that it becomes the epicenter of their passion and life ruins everything.

3-Players influence : players are starting to have more and more influence over the board that can result into problems. Surely having players point of view means a lot and adds up as a factor but to final the decision on it does not simply look right.

4-VAR: Video Assistant Referee is a helping hand to referee, and he/she will ask for it when he/she wants a little assistant to make a final decision, and if he/she have any doubt. There can be two situations.
1:Referee has doubt so, he/she consults VAR the decision stands correct or was corrected by VAR.
2:Referee has no doubt so, he/she do not consult VAR the decision later on turns out wrong.
So the decision still depends on referees choice whether he/she was sure and confident about his judgment which could be wrong. keeping in view the human factor it does not look a lot but there must be better way to handle it.

5-Only attackers are celebrated: People like attacking football, who does not like goals. But to call a goal less match boring is also inaccurate. There was no goal does not mean the attackers were terrible but on the other hand it means the defenders the goal keepers did a fabulous job keeping the ball out of nets.

Conclusion: No matter how hard we try there still be problems, so its better to solve them then waiting for them to make a bulk of problems which later on cause larger obstacles.
